Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a New Site Opening Manager to own on-site opening execution from installation to handoff. You will coordinate installation sequencing, staffing, and readiness to ensure every site opens on time and meets standards.

You will train staff, manage partners, and drive a rapid, well-managed opening while coordinating with regional teams across the Northeast, Southeast, or West regions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading equipment installation, commissioning, site openings, or field operations.
• Ability to own openings and drive multiple workstreams to fixed deadlines.
• Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
• Hands-on technical aptitude with equipment, systems, and field-installation processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single on-site owner for assigned new locations from installation through opening.
• Translate the project plan into an actionable on-site opening plan with deadlines, owners, dependencies, and completion standards.
• Drive opening activities to completion and hold internal teams, vendors, and partners accountable for commitments and due dates.
• Coordinate installation sequencing across equipment, technology, merchandise, facilities, vendors, and other required workstreams.
• Confirm equipment is installed correctly, configured to standards, and functioning before opening.
• Lead a structured transition from New Site Opening Operations to ongoing field operations.
