Job summary

Family-Entertainment-Group is seeking a New Site Opening Manager responsible for driving each assigned site from installation through successful opening and handoff to ongoing operations.

You will coordinate opening activities, ensure equipment readiness, staffing, and training, and hold partners accountable to commitments to deliver an exceptional opening-day guest experience. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading equipment installation, commissioning, site openings, or field operations projects.
• Ability to own opening readiness and drive multiple workstreams toward fixed deadlines.
• Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
• Hands-on technical aptitude with equipment, systems, and field-installation processes.
• Understand operations and differentiate between installed and ready to operate.
• Experience coordinating staffing, training, and opening-readiness activities.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to hold others accountable while maintaining relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site opening execution for assigned new locations from installation through opening and handoff.
• Translate project plans into actionable opening plans with deadlines and owners.
• Drive opening activities to completion and manage commitments and due dates.
• Coordinate installation readiness, equipment testing, and punch lists.
• Partner with Operations and People teams to confirm staffing plans and training completion.
• Conduct pre-opening readiness reviews and verify readiness across equipment, technology, staff, and safety.
• Lead opening-week execution and resolve issues to protect guest experience.
• Coordinate vendor and partner management to ensure timely, quality work.
• Handoff documentation and transition to ongoing operations with clear ownership.
