Job summary

Matrix Service Co is hiring a construction laborer to assist craftsmen and perform a variety of manual duties under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance while handling tools and materials on site in Washington.

The position requires basic hand-tool knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and prior construction/maintenance exposure. A drug test and background check may be required as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and work as a team.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass Labor proficiency testing at or above 70%.
• Must have six months or more of experience in construction/maintenance.
• Must have basic knowledge using construction hand tools.
• Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Client / Site specific training.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and uphold core values.
• Assist in the erection of scaffolding.
• Select proper tools for tasks.
• Maintain clean work area and restock materials.
• Perform duties under supervision of craftsmen.
