Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking personnel to perform manual labor tasks in construction/maintenance in Washington. The position involves digging, spreading and leveling dirt, assisting in scaffolding, selecting proper tools, and maintaining station cleanliness with a focus on safety and core values.

Applicants should have at least six months of construction/maintenance experience and the ability to work with hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and work as a team.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass Labor proficiency testing at or above 70%.
• Must have six months or more of experience in construction/maintenance.
• Must have basic knowledge using construction hand tools.
• Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Client / Site specific training.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel.
• Assist in the erection of scaffolding.
• Select and work with the proper tools for the task at hand.
• Maintenance of janitorial, drinking water, and hand wash stations
• Perform duties as directed by craftsman, multi-craft, or senior craftsman.
• Follow specific directions in a variety of duties which may often change.
