Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services seeks a on-site supervisor to oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff, ensuring safety and that customer quality expectations are met. The role operates in a Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm schedule and requires strong oversight of daily operations.

The candidate will manage shift assignments, clocking procedures, and conduct regular site inspections, while addressing customer concerns and maintaining inventory and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
• Oversee daily clock-in/out procedures.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations
