Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking an experienced Lead IT Sites professional to serve as the on-site IT SME for the location, coordinating with centralized IT and leading site technology initiatives. You will manage incidents, maintain critical production and office systems, and guide ongoing improvements across hardware, software, and network domains.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, engineering, and functional teams to ensure maximum uptime and alignment with manufacturing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a system administrator in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, MS Office, and MS Exchange/Outlook with strong workstation troubleshooting skills.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and supporting PC laptop and desktop hardware.
• 2+ years hands-on network administration experience, preferably Cisco-based infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience supporting MS Access databases.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Experience with project management in a large-scale environment.
• Experience with budget planning and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site IT resource leadership for the location and coordinate with centralized IT teams.
• Oversee incident resolution and service requests affecting site operations.
• Maintain and support site IT systems including production floor, warehouse, and office tech.
• Manage site infrastructure: workstations, servers, networks, printers, phones, mobile devices, and AV systems.
• Ensure backup, recovery, and compliance activities support site operations.
• Coordinate IT projects and improvements with site leadership and corporate teams.
• Monitor user satisfaction and drive continuous improvement in IT services.
