Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an IT Field Support specialist to deploy and maintain technology environments at job sites and offices in the Raleigh-Durham area. You will implement Meraki network equipment, conference room systems, and endpoint configurations in line with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities include deploying field network gear, supporting laptops and mobile devices, troubleshooting site issues, and coordinating with infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of IT field support, networking, or systems administration experience required.
  • Networking or IT service management certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deploys and configures jobsite network equipment and connectivity solutions.
  • Installs and maintains field hardware, workstations, mobile devices, and site infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves site-level technical issues per service standards.
  • Maintains asset tracking, recovery, and documentation within established systems.
  • Supports project startup and closeout technology requirements.
  • Coordinates escalations with Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
  • Ensures field environments adhere to enterprise security and configuration standards.
  • Based at a jobsite in Raleigh-Durham, supporting a dedicated project team on a large construction project.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for end-user and field technologies (laptops, mobile devices, conference room tech, printers, peripherals).
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking technologies (firewalls, switches, access points, VLANs, DHCP/DNS).
  • Own technical issues through resolution, including coordination with other IT teams or vendors.
  • Partner with project leadership to support mobilizations, site changes, and ongoing operations.
  • Build strong relationships with project teams and regional leadership by delivering responsive support.
  • On-Site position, no remote or hybrid option.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
