Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Site Installation Manager to lead the installation of structural systems, racking, and automated equipment at customer sites. You will manage RFIs, progress, and commissioning readiness, while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

This highly visible role requires 7+ years in automation installation or related fields, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 80%. The position is site-based with hybrid travel to client locations, and the main office is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years trade experience in integration, construction management, or automation installation.
• 3+ years supervising or managing teams and trades contractors.
• Experience with industrial/robotic automation projects and ASRS.
• Strong negotiation and relationship skills across the technical team.
• Experience with using metrics and data analysis to drive process improvements.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-specific RFIs and respond to contractor/vendor RFIs per SLAs.
• Maintain daily site progress and commissioning readiness using the GPR tool.
• Manage Site Bulletins and bulletin matrix; ensure scope and completion.
• Lead and validate contractor/vendor deliverables via 650 Checklists.
• Verify missing material requests; document root causes and traceability.
• Support FCR validation; assess validity, resource needs, and costs.
• Assist in demobilization after Mechanical/Electrical installation complete.
