Job summary

SLB is seeking a proactive HSE Specialist to strengthen the Health, Safety, and Environment culture at the Midland location. You will partner with site leaders to embed HSE into daily activities, enabling safe operations while supporting business objectives.

You will drive continuous improvement, promote workforce engagement, and serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees to uphold safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence in every decision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in energy, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, auditing methods, and incident investigations.
• Experience supporting operational teams in implementing HSE programs and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with QUEST or similar reporting systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the location's HSE Management System and programs.
• Develop site-specific procedures, work instructions, risk controls, and HSE plans.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews with timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE training, onboarding, and competency for employees and contractors.
• Facilitate incident investigations and identify preventive and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and report trends in QUEST.
• Serve as primary HSE liaison with contractors, regulatory agencies, and local stakeholders.
• Promote employee participation in HSE initiatives and continuous improvement.
