Job summary

DSV is seeking a Safety Supervisor (HSE) to lead daily health, safety and environmental activities at the designated facility. This role supports site leadership with coaching, training and implementing safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and loss prevention.

The ideal candidate will drive HSE improvements, maintain safety metrics, and work closely with site teams to promote a culture of safe operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Experience in safety observations/inspections and implementing compliance strategies.
• Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
• Forklift training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are implemented at the site.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor HSE programs, risk assessments and audits.
• Coach and train site personnel on safe operating behaviors.
• Lead and support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Communicate HSE goals and performance to leadership and staff.
