Job summary

Talon Metals Corp in Tamarack, Minnesota seeks a hands-on Human Resources Superintendent to lead site HR programs, partner with leaders, and promote a safe, respectful, high-performing workplace. This role is hands-on and highly visible, balancing daily people matters with strategic workforce shaping.

You will oversee recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance, reporting to the VP, Health, Safety & HR, and embedding our values across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive HR experience in an operational/industrial setting.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry preferred.
• Proven experience leading employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Hands-on recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business; HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and development for Supervisors and frontline teams to execute daily operations.
• Lead employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and legality.
• Oversee end-to-end recruiting and onboarding at the site.
• Manage payroll processes and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
