Job summary

The Health, Safety, Security Manager at Colonial Group leads the site’s HSE programs, champions safety culture, and ensures compliance with OSHA, RC14001/ISO standards. This working leader role has direct reports and partners with site leadership to drive risk reduction and continuous improvement.

The position oversees incident investigations, training, permits, audits, and contractor safety, reporting to the Plant Manager and guiding continuous safety performance across manufacturing operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive Health & Safety experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tools, programs, and initiatives that increase safety awareness, engagement, accountability, and capability across the site.
• Lead by example and coach employees and contractors to strengthen the site's safety culture and safe work practices.
• Ensure site safety programs and compliance requirements are maintained per company standards and regulations.
