Job summary

Abbott Construction seeks a Foreman to coordinate day-to-day site activities and provide on-site supervision aligned with our safety and service standards. The Foreman may assume supervisory responsibilities when the Superintendent is unavailable.

You will train field teams, enforce safety policies, review plans and specs, and identify Job Hazard Analyses for project hazards. This role requires concrete experience and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug test.
• Ground-up and structural concrete experience.
• Able to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Proficient with builder’s level and theodolite.
• Experience in quality control, inspections, compliance, and reporting.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
• Able to motivate, develop and direct people on site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the construction site.
• Act as on-site safety officer and train/delegate as needed.
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and lead field teams throughout the construction process.
• Identify and prepare Job Hazard Analysis for all project hazards.
