Job summary

Abbott Construction is seeking an on-site construction supervisor in Washington state. The role focuses on coordinating daily site activities, leading field teams, and enforcing safety policies while ensuring subcontractors follow procedures.

The candidate must pass a drug test and have ground-up and structural concrete experience, with proficiency in reading plans and using a builder’s level and theodolite. A strong emphasis on quality control is required.

• Able to read and interpret plans & specs.
• Proficient in the use of builder’s level and theodolite.
• Experience in quality control, including inspections, compliance, and reporting.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
• Able to motivate develop and direct people as they work while identifying the best people for the job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the construction site.
• Act as the on-site safety officer and be able to train and delegate if necessary.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and lead field teams throughout the construction process.
• Identify and prepare Job Hazard Analysis for all hazards associated with the project.
