Job summary

Abbott Construction is seeking a skilled field supervisor to coordinate day-to-day site activities and lead field teams through the construction process. The role emphasizes on-site safety leadership, subcontractor safety compliance, and development of Job Hazard Analyses to address project hazards.

Candidates should have ground-up and structural concrete experience, ability to read plans and specs, and proficiency with surveying tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Ground-up and structural concrete experience.
• Able to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Proficient in the use of builder’s level and theodolite.
• Experience in quality control, including inspections, compliance, and reporting.
• Has knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction process
• Able to motivate develop and direct people as they work while identifying the best people for the job

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the construction site.
• Act as the on-site safety officer and be able to train and delegate if necessary.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and lead field teams throughout the construction process.
• Identify and prepare Job Hazard Analysis for all hazards associated with the project
