Job summary

Warfel Construction Company seeks a full-time jobsite Foreman to assist Superintendents and the project team with daily tasks, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing material deliveries, and QA/QC documentation on jobsites. Depending on experience, you may run your own project and report to the site Superintendent, with oversight from the Director of Field Operations.

Daily travel to projects within a 0–120 mile radius may be required; additional travel outside the radius may qualify you for a

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in the construction industry.
• Must have construction background and training.

Responsibilities

• Review daily jobsite needs with the job site supervisor and assist to track or manage items.
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications, and analyze construction methods and sequencing.
• Promote a culture of jobsite safety and enforce safety procedures for all on site.
• Manage all new contract documents and keep file locations updated with latest documents onsite.
• Check shop drawings and submittals from subcontractors and field measurements to confirm design requirements.
• Assist with vendor management for delivery dates and field activities; document issues when schedules slip.
• Review material deliveries against submittals and contract documents; maintain delivery log.
• Communicate with project team; prepare notes and photos for subcontractors as needed.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and complete related documentation; assist with close-out punch lists.
