Site Equipment Operator III

Department:

Field Operations

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate various equipment such as:
2. Trackhoe (GPS experience is a plus)
3. Ensure all work is completed according to required standards and plans
4. Load and offload rocks, debris, and other material from heavy equipment
5. Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials
6. Willing to work on the ground and perform manual labor to complete tasks as needed
7. Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues immediately
8. Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
9. Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
10. Aid coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
11. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
12. Perform other duties as assigned
13. Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
2. Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
3. Knowledge of OSHA Standards
4. Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge preferred, but not required
5. Ability to obtain FBI Badge preferred, but not required
6. Requires personal transportation to job sites
7. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
8. Work weekends and overtime as needed
9. Committed to attending work each day
10. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
