Job summary

Pave Talent is partnering with a global specialty chemicals and electronic materials manufacturer to recruit an on-site Engineering Manager for a high-volume production site. You will own the site's technical direction, lead engineering across processes, equipment, tooling, reliability, and capital projects, and collaborate with R&D and sister sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with batch chemical synthesis in a manufacturing setting.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, including leading engineers or teams.
• Capital project management and equipment implementation experience.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, reliability engineering and maintenance strategy.
• Specialty chemicals or electronic materials background preferred.
• High-volume operations in multi-site or matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the site's technical strategy.
• Improve batch chemical synthesis processes for safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Lead capital projects end to end: planning, budgeting, execution, and validation.
• Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on critical failures and recurring issues.
• Build reliability and maintenance strategies to keep the plant running.
• Mentor and develop engineers; run performance management and succession planning.
• Bring in new technologies, materials, and methods and share best practices with R&D and sister sites.
