Job summary

Fortune 500 Industrial Manufacturer in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Site Engineering Leader to own a 70+ person engineering department and partner with senior leadership. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role drives continuous improvement, cost reduction, and strategic project execution on a 1,200+ employee campus.

You will shape the long-term engineering roadmap, develop HI-POT talent, manage budgets, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to launch programs on time

Qualifications

Engineering/Technical degree required.
3–5 years of engineering leadership experience.
Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively across functions.

Responsibilities

Lead a department of 70+ employees with budget ownership.
Drive continuous improvement, yield, and process optimization.
Provide direction aligned with business goals and strategy.
Develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Address plant and customer issues using problem-solving methods.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain on launches.
Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant objectives.
Contribute to long-term engineering and business roadmaps.
