Fortune 500 Industrial Manufacturer in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Site Engineering Leader to own a 70+ person engineering department and partner with senior leadership. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role drives continuous improvement, cost reduction, and strategic project execution on a 1,200+ employee campus.

You will shape the long-term engineering roadmap, develop HI-POT talent, manage budgets, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to launch programs on time

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree required.
• 3–5 years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively across functions.

We are representing an industry leading Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organization whose flagship campus is actively seeking a Site Engineering Leader. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over an 60+ employee department while working cross functionally with senior leadership. This is a 1,200+ employee campus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Site Engineering Leader will report to the VP/General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 70+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership.
• Drive departmental continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
• Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch programs.
• Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives
• Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration
