Job summary

Scatec is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer for the Dandara project in Egypt. You will oversee all electrical activities on-site, track progress and report on quality, timeline, cost and HSSE compliance. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years EPC experience on large construction projects, and hands-on PV tracker system knowledge.

Fluency in Arabic and English is essential. You will interact with site supervisors, review contractor documentation, and support NCR processes

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years EPC experience on medium to large construction projects.
• 1+ years ground mount PV experience with tracker systems.
• Experience with PV module mounting structures (piling, ramming, predrilling, skid foundations).
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all electrical activities at the site ensuring quality, time, cost and HSSE standards.
• Manage construction of electrical works such as piles, trackers, metal structures, modules, fences and tower erection.
• Review and approve construction documentation submitted by contractors.
• Monitor daily contractor progress and initiate corrective or recovery plans when needed.
• Handle technical queries and ensure construction follows the latest drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with quality inspectors for inspections, audits and witness points.
• Support technical assessments, investigations and design reviews.
• Assist with NCR processes, corrective actions and final inspections.
