Job summary

DNV is seeking a Project Engineer to drive on-site SCADA and PPC projects for renewable energy sites. You will work in a matrix organization, translating project descriptions into executable diagrams and hardware configurations.

You will join a global team, improving efficiency, delivering high‑quality results, and traveling to sites as needed to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (required).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, or BESS).
• Knowledge of industrial protocols like MODBUS or similar.
• Ability to create single line diagrams (AutoCAD).
• Excellent planning and organizational skills for multi‑project handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and Spanish).
• Pre‑employment drug and background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze PV and wind projects to monitor variables.
• Create single line diagrams for SCADA hardware.
• Collaborate to meet delivery schedules and assist group activities.
• Support SCADA system commissioning, including up to 50% site travel.
• Configure software to maximize data value.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
