Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for our Winston-Salem, NC facility. You will lead EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve safety culture across operations.

You will conduct root-cause investigations, manage environmental permits, and develop emergency response capabilities, partnering with leaders and unions to sustain strong safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, environmental science or related field.
• Significant experience leading EHS programs in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site EHS programs and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and site security.
• Conduct incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee environmental compliance activities including permits and reporting.
• Develop emergency response capabilities and coordinate drills and training.
• Collaborate with leaders and union reps to improve safety performance.
