Job summary

NEXPERA in Louisiana is seeking a Site EHS Manager to lead and sustain site-level environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. You will partner with site leadership to drive a strong safety culture, manage permits, coordinate inspections, track metrics, and support operations with a focus on environmental stewardship and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Experience with state environmental regulations, air, water and waste permitting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local EHS regulations.
• Lead site environmental programs: air, water, and waste permitting and reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, local authorities).
• Manage environmental permits, renewals and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare for inspections/audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve site EHS management systems and recordkeeping.
• Conduct audits/inspections and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with site leadership to identify risks and implement controls.
• Support MOC processes, incident investigations, and emergency planning.
• Monitor EHS metrics and partner with HR/Operations on wellness and workers’ comp.
