Job summary

NEXPERA's site Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager leads site EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and partnering with leadership to drive safety culture and continuous improvement.

The role requires a B.S. in an environmental field and 5+ years in industrial settings with air/water/waste program experience; excellent regulatory knowledge and incident-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with state environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.
• Multi-media environmental experience (air, water, waste).
• PSM experience preferred; Certification such as CHMM/CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local EHS regulations, focus on state regs.
• Lead site environmental programs for air, water, and waste (multi-media).
• Serve as primary site contact for OSHA, EPA, and local authorities.
• Manage environmental permits, renewals, and reporting requirements.
• Plan for regulatory inspections, audits, and responses to findings.
• Maintain and improve site EHS management systems and documentation.
• Conduct audits and inspections; identify risks and drive improvements.
• Support MOC processes and emergency preparedness planning.
