Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Site EHS Manager to oversee daily environmental, health, and safety activities for a major mission-critical project in Temple, TX. You will lead inspections, incident investigations, and safety training, ensuring alignment with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and company standards.

The role requires a strong field presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with site leadership and trade partners to drive safety

Qualifications

• Construction safety or EHS experience required.
• Mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large commercial project experience preferred.
• Strong field presence and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily environmental, health, and safety activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Verify employee and subcontractor training documentation.
• Lead preconstruction safety-planning meetings.
• Investigate incidents and maintain required documentation.
• Partner with site leadership and trade partners to strengthen safety performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and company standards.
