Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an EHS Manager in the Lubbock, TX area to lead all environmental, health and safety programs for the facility. The role requires developing policies, training, audits, incident investigations, workers' comp coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continual safety improvements.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, 5+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing, and a track record of driving safety culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety, or Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of progressively responsible EHS experience in manufacturing/food processing/industrial environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
• EHS-related certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, CHMM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all EHS systems and programs for the facility.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies and training.
• Serve as site SME for EHS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Audit EHS documentation and prepare for internal/external audits.
• Oversee safety, environmental inspections and corrective actions.
• Manage Workers' Compensation cases with HR and insurers.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and ammonia refrigeration compliance.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety culture.
