Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks an EHS Manager in the Montpelier, VT area to lead environmental, health, and safety programs and advance a proactive safety culture across manufacturing facilities.

You will develop and maintain compliant EHS programs, conduct investigations, manage records, and support audits and sustainability initiatives while engaging employees and leaders to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and EHS reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that promote compliance, safe work practices, and employee engagement.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support compliance audits, regulatory inspections, and sustainability initiatives.
