Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking an experienced EHS leader to oversee environment, health and safety programs across the Silent-Aire manufacturing facilities in Gilbert, AZ and regional sites.

The role focuses on developing and auditing EHS management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading a team of EHS coaches, and driving a world-class safety culture with a strong emphasis on incident investigations and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Six years of EHS experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with ISO 45001, 14001, COR audits.

Responsibilities

• Foster a world-class Health and Safety culture within the DCS/Silent-Aire business.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to employees at all levels.
• Work with the Director and Regional EHS Managers to establish corporate EHS policies and best practices.
• Implement the Environment, Health and Safety Management System(s).
• Track and maintain local EHS KPIs and publish data for stakeholders.
• Lead near-miss and incident investigations per the incident management process.
• Advise local leadership on regulatory changes and compliance.
