Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) to lead the site’s EHS strategy, programs, and culture, working with site leadership and cross-functional teams to reduce risk and improve performance.

The role focuses on implementing EHS programs, ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance, incident management, training, and continuous improvement across a manufacturing environment. Occasional travel to other locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or other relevant EHS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS strategy deployment, programs, and culture aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, State DNR, and other requirements.
• Lead incident reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Facilitate EHS training and communication to build awareness and accountability.
• Track and report site EHS metrics, trends, and improvement plans.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Corporate EHS to integrate EHS expectations into daily work and audits.
