Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Excellence across two manufacturing plants in Kansas. You will provide hands-on leadership to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace and deliver targeted EHS training and coaching.

The role requires CSP certification, a minimum of 5 years in EH&S program management, and experience in Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industries, with up to 30% travel. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an EH&S related Science or Engineering field.
• Professional CSP certification required for this role.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with emphasis in EH&S program management.
• Experience within Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Industries.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Positive, self‑starter with strong organizational, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and passionately to drive EH&S program change across levels.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS Excellence across two manufacturing plants.
• Provide hands-on leadership to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace.
• Deliver EHS training and provide in-field coaching.
• Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Support deployment of effective control measures.
• Lead chemical product screening and environmental compliance activities.
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Environmental regulations.
• Prepare safety and compliance reports.
