Qualifications

• A 4-year or 2-year degree in health and safety or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Safety Professional in industrial environments.
• Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, OSHA 30, OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Deliver EHS training programs for employees.
• Promote safety awareness and a culture of safety.
• Maintain records of training sessions and attendance.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Coordinate emergency response teams and resources.
• Ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety data, training, and incidents.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Update EHS documentation, including policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for site management and employees.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote integrated safety practices.
• Engage with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
