Job summary

Champions is hiring a Site Director for Barneveld Elementary to oversee before/after school programs and collaborate with families, district personnel, and teachers. The role supports a wraparound program and emphasizes safety, licensing, and quality instruction during out-of-school hours.

The position offers competitive pay of $20/hr based on education and experience, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development. No weekends or late-night shifts are typical.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have completed high school or its equivalent as determined by the Wisconsin department of public instruction.
• Have at least 240 hours of experience as a school-age program leader, public or private school teacher, student teacher, coach, camp counselor, mentor in a community based organization, or equivalent experience in another approved setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create engaging classroom experiences.
• Ensure site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, and community partners.
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites.
