Job summary

The Bennington Public Schools Foundation is seeking a Site Director for its All Star Kids Before and After-school program at a Bennington elementary school. You will lead activities, oversee staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children.

The role requires 19+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant experience or credentials in child development. Full-time hours include early mornings and afternoon shifts, with summer availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Meet one of the following: two years minimum experience in organized group activities for young children; or credential/associate degree as listed; or bachelor degree with required credits in child development or early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Plan safe and developmentally appropriate activities for students.
• Provide direction and oversight to staff and children during program activities.
• Manage and support staff in planning and implementing daily programs.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and maintain a safe, healthy environment.
• Establish and maintain open communication with staff, parents, and children.
• Assist with behavior management and ensure program goals are met.
• Train staff on emergency procedures and safety protocols.
