Job summary

YMCA of Monticello seeks a Site Director to supervise and support the Club Kid program when the director is not present, ensuring health, safety and well‑being of children. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, plus early childhood coursework and child care experience, with CPAC accepted as an alternative credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 12 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field.
• 1 year of full-time teaching experience in a child care center, family or group family day care, or another early childhood program.
• 1 year of experience supervising staff in a child care program or related field.
• New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential (CPAC) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure designated staff left in charge can supervise all program functions in the director's absence.
• Maintain health, safety and well‑being of children in care when the director is away.
• Supervise and support program staff during the season (September—June).
