Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC seeks a Project Lead for Front Royal, VA to helm site development and underground utilities, with HeavyJob as the coordinating system. You will manage budgets, schedules, crews, and inspectors on complex civil projects.

You will lead from the front, operate heavy equipment when required, and ensure OSHA 10 compliance; OSHA 30 and trench/excavation certifications are preferred. This is a direct placement, full-time role on a demanding field site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site development and underground utilities.
• Experience leading multiple crews on civil projects.
• Proficient with HeavyJob software and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Crew Leadership: Schedule, direct, and mentor multiple field crews across site prep, bulk earthmoving, and underground utility installations.
• Budget & Schedule Accountability: Manage daily project costs and schedules, optimize labor and machine utilization, and track production.
• Subcontractor & Inspector Coordination: Coordinate subcontractor workflows and liaise with municipal inspectors for sign-offs.
• Hands-On Field Operations: Lead from the front by operating heavy equipment when needed (exca vators, dozers, loaders, trucks, pipelaying gear).
• Safety & Daily Reporting: Enforce OSHA safety standards, track daily logs and job yields, and maintain site compliance.
