Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an experienced Project Lead for Front Royal, VA, to manage site development and underground utilities on direct placement. You will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and inspectors while maintaining hands-on capability with heavy equipment when required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in site development and underground utility construction, 2-3 years leading civil projects, and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site development and underground utility construction.
• 2-3 years leading complete civil projects and multiple crews.
• OSHA 10 is required; OSHA 30 preferred; Trench & Excavation certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple field crews across site prep, bulk earthmoving, and underground utility installs.
• Manage daily project costs, schedules, labor and machine utilization, and track production in HeavyJob.
• Coordinate subcontractor workflows and liaise with municipal inspectors for sign-offs.
• Operate heavy equipment when needed and enforce OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and site compliance.
