Qualifications

• 5+ years in site development and underground utility construction.
• 2-3 years leading complete civil projects and directing multiple crews.
• Hands-on proficiency with HeavyJob; operate dozers, loaders, excavators, trucks and pipelaying gear.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred) and Trench & Excavation Competent Person Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple field crews across site prep, bulk earthmoving, and underground utility installations (storm, sanitary, water).
• Manage daily project costs and schedules; optimize labor and machine utilization; track production in HeavyJob.
• Coordinate subcontractor workflows and work with municipal inspectors to secure sign-offs.
• Lead from the front by operating heavy equipment when needed (excavators, dozers, loaders, haul trucks, pipelaying equipment).
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain daily logs and site compliance.
