Job summary
DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Site Development Engineer to support site design for utility-scale projects from the Pleasanton, CA office. You will develop Preliminary Site Plans, perform environmental and civil design tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep project schedules on track.
This role requires experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, civil design in industrial settings, and a degree in engineering or science; PE license or FE candidate
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering or Science.
- Experience in design and engineering in construction, renewables, oil & gas, data center, or other industrial or commercial industries.
- Experience in Civil Design and Engineering; licensed PE or FE candidate is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop Preliminary Site Plans and Class 0 BOM to support project development, bidding, estimating, and business development.
- Perform document reviews and provide technical support including ALTA surveys, topographic assessments, permits, hydrology studies, and environmental site assessments.
- Produce high quality Site Plans and Class 1 BOM for other engineering disciplines and construction teams.
- Conduct fundamental civil design work including surface analysis, watershed analysis, and preliminary grading.
