Job summary
DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Sr. Civil Engineer to design and construct large-scale renewable energy sites in North America.
You will lead civil engineering, drainage, grading, and site development efforts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and overseeing constructability considerations. You will travel up to 25% for site visits, support construction activities, review field conditions, respond to contractor questions, and drive alignment on technical
Qualifications
- Sealing Engineer of Record capability for civil designs and calculations.
- Experience in site development, land development, transportation or utility projects.
- Interest in renewable energy civil design and large-scale site development challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop civil engineering and site preparation designs for large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Review field conditions and respond to contractor questions to support construction.
- Evaluate design adjustments and resolve site challenges with practical solutions.
- Collaborate with project, structural, electrical, environmental, and construction teams.
- Prepare and review grading plans, drainage studies, erosion and sediment control plans, SWPPP documentation, specs and related deliverables.
- Perform site visits to evaluate terrain, drainage, soil conditions and constructability.
