Metric Geo in Ohio is seeking a Civil Engineer specializing in Site Development to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. You will lead site development design tasks, coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, architects, technicians, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role covers grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, permitting, and construction support, with emphasis on mentoring junior staff and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 4+ years of professional civil engineering experience in site development or land development.
• Experience producing civil plans for grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
• Knowledge of permitting procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering solutions for site development projects from concept to final design.
• Produce and review drawings covering site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater.
• Perform engineering calculations and evaluate design solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, architects, and clients.
• Prepare reports, specifications, permit materials, and client deliverables.
