Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Site Design team in Missouri. You will provide fundamental design work, assist with drafting, and help prepare project schedules while coordinating with senior engineers. Travel to job sites may be required.

The role supports flexible work options including remote or hybrid arrangements, with opportunities to work from any Olsson office location in designated regions. A 2+ year background in civil engineering design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EI/EIT certification required or actively pursuing.
• 2+ years of related civil engineering design experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides small scale design elements for engineering projects using fundamental knowledge and established methods.
• Performs basic plan production and accepts instructions for tasks.
• Develops and applies knowledge in design and modeling software.
• Assists with preparation of project documentation and schedules; performs design calculations.
• Coordinates with experienced engineers on non-routine techniques and procedures.
• Gathers research and drafts technical reports using prescribed methods.
