Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Engineer for Site Design/Municipal work in Nebraska. You will perform engineering and project management duties on land development projects, prepare planning and design documents, and coordinate with Olsson teams and clients from conception to completion.

You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings. The position offers flexible work options, including remote and hybrid schedules, to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture.
• Minimum of six years of related civil engineering experience.
• Proficient in Civil 3D software.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Landscape Architect.

Responsibilities

• Prepares planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
• Performs design calculations, prepares cost estimates and conducts economic analyses.
• Assists with scope, schedule, budgets, and progress reporting.
• Coordinates projects with Olsson teams and clients, maintains records and communications.
• Assists with marketing and proposals; may serve as project manager on small projects.
• Independently performs assignments on complex projects; may supervise staff.
