Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale data center construction program in Ohio. This primarily site-based role requires regular on-site presence at the Miami County project site, located about 80 minutes from Columbus, with stakeholders across a diverse portfolio.

You will advise on strategies, manage vendor prequalification and bids, develop estimates, report costs, control payments, and drive value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in cost management in construction.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects is beneficial.
• Experience with large-scale campus developments or mission-critical projects is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Advise client on strategies, manage prequalification of vendors, assess proposals, bids, and bid leveling, and chair interviews.
• Develop project estimates for construction, fees, direct costs, and other costs; review junior team estimates; present to client.
• Establish cost reporting schedule, review cost reports and forecasts, manage risk registers, and host regular meetings with team and vendors.
• Oversee payment application assessments, review change orders, and support dispute prevention/resolution procedures.
• Oversee invoicing process and benchmark performance against other projects.
