Job summary

Galaxus Deutschland GmbH seeks a Site Coordinator / Operations Project Manager for our Neuenburg am Rhein site. You will lead small to medium logistics projects, from concept through implementation, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to meet cost, time, and quality targets.

The role requires strong analytical and PM skills, with experience in logistics or infrastructure projects and fluency in German or French and English.

Your tasks

As a Site Coordinator / Operations Project Manager, this role acts as the central point of contact for all site-related projects. Responsibility includes the safe, efficient, and cost-effective planning and execution of projects at site ON1. The position requires excellent organizational skills to ensure that logistics projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.

In Neuenburg am Rhein, two new logistics centers with more than 90,000 sqm of warehouse space are currently being built. For our Operations Center 1 (30,000 sqm), we are looking for a Site Coordinator / Operations Project Manager for operational logistics.

• Overall responsibility for small and medium-sized logistics projects, ensuring successful implementation
• During the concept phase, conducting detailed research, analysis, and cost calculations. Preparing decision-relevant information for the Site Lead and presenting it clearly and convincingly
• In the implementation phase, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration between all involved and affected departments. Managing internal and external stakeholders, resource and timeline planning, as well as project controlling to guarantee target achievement and performance monitoring
• Actively contributing to solution development by combining analytical and technical expertise to create added value
• Supporting other project managers in additional projects and leading sub-projects outside of ON1 when required

Your skills

• Strong analytical skills, supported by relevant education or further training in Project Management, Facility Management, or Supply Chain Management
• A technical background with initial experience as a project manager, ideally in logistics and/or infrastructure projects
• A solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset, combined with hands-on involvement to drive projects to success
• The ability to communicate openly and effectively with different stakeholders, bringing discussions and differing opinions to a shared consensus
• Very good written and spoken communication skills in German or French, as well as English
• Taking calculated risks to create value and drive growth
• Aligning actions and decisions with personal beliefs and values
