Job summary

Galaxus Deutschland is seeking a Quality Operator to uphold and improve quality standards across production operations. The role will champion quality initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements throughout the supply chain and production floor.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, conducting internal audits, analyzing quality data, leading 5S improvements, and managing supplier performance through scorecards and CAPAs.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, QA, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong data interpretation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; training capability.
• Proven reliability and ability to build trust with teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain SOPs; train teams on compliance.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; manage CAPA; support audits.
• Analyze daily quality data; identify trends; create dashboards.
• Lead continuous improvement with 5S; perform audits.

The Quality Operator plays a critical role in upholding, monitoring, and continuously improving quality standards across our production operations. This detail-oriented individual will champion quality initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements throughout the supply chain and production floor.

Deine Aufgaben

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop, review, update, and maintain SOPs while effectively training production teams on compliance and quality best practices
• Quality Auditing: Plan and execute internal audits, prepare comprehensive audit checklists and reports, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and provide crucial support during external audits
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform daily quality data analysis to identify emerging trends and execute root cause analyses. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to communicate key quality metrics to leadership
• Continuous Improvement: Champion workplace organization by implementing and sustaining 5S methodologies (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and conducting regular 5S audits
• Supplier Quality Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance by maintaining accurate scorecards, issuing non-conformance tickets, and coordinating effective resolutions

Deine Fähigkeiten

• Education: Degree, diploma, or formal education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Quality Assurance, or a related field is required
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify core issues, and implement effective problem-solving strategies
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train team members and collaborate effective with suppliers
• Build trust through consistent and reliable actions
• Use creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals
