Cruitin is seeking a Site Coordinator to support onsite construction operations across multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects. You will assist project teams with planning, coordinate field activities, track deliveries, maintain records, and help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards on active sites in California.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and construction execution.
  • Review and interpret drawings, specs, shop drawings, and docs.
  • Support tracking of subcontractor work, change orders and scope activities.
  • Maintain project records including daily, safety, and site reports.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and jobsite access with vendors and subs.
  • Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with superintendents, PMs, subs, and field personnel to keep schedules.
  • Assist with punch lists and project closeout.
  • Direct and coordinate temporary labor as needed.
  • Participate in jobsite safety programs and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Monitor construction quality and assist corrective actions.
  • Foster relationships with project teams and communities.

Site Coordinator
Compensation

$75,000 - $95,000 base salary plus potential bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a Site Coordinator to support onsite construction operations and assist project teams in the successful execution of multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects. This position plays a key role in coordinating field activities, tracking materials and deliveries, supporting safety initiatives, and helping ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to grow within a construction management environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and construction execution efforts.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Support tracking and documentation of subcontractor work, including change orders and additional scope activities.
  • Maintain project records, including daily reports, safety reports, and jobsite documentation.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, staging logistics, and jobsite access with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor procurement schedules and track material delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.
  • Support scheduling and sequencing of construction activities.
  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.
  • Direct and coordinate temporary labor resources as assigned.
  • Participate in jobsite safety programs and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and help maintain compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor construction quality and assist in implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and surrounding communities.
  • Perform additional project support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant construction management or construction technology certificate programs will also be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of construction, field operations, logistics, materials management, or related experience required.
  • Experience with concrete, framing, drywall, structural steel, or multifamily/commercial construction preferred.
  • Construction internships, military experience, or related educational programs may be considered in lieu of direct industry experience.

Safety & Certifications
  • OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all project safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work regularly on active construction sites.
  • Ability to observe and respond to jobsite hazards and emergency situations.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments with exposure to dust, noise, and other construction-related conditions.
