Job summary

Copeland LP in Forney, TX, seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence at the Distribution Center through the Copeland Business System (CBS).

You will partner with Operations, Inventory, Customer Service, Materials, Quality, and Engineering to identify opportunities, standardize processes, and build sustainable operating systems that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Distribution Center Operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen, RCA, A3, VSM, and Daily Management Systems.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence across multiple functions.
• Project and change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CBS Leader, deploying and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with site leadership to execute the Continuous Improvement roadmap.
• Coach leaders on CBS principles, Lean tools, and problem solving.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, RCA, A3, VSM, and standard work.
• Develop Daily Management Systems, Leader Standard Work, Visual Management, and KPI processes.
• Identify opportunities across Operations, Inventory, Customer Service, Materials, Transportation, and Quality.
• Standardize SOPs and ensure sustainable execution of improvements.
• Analyze performance data and build dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Lead cross-functional projects on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Prepare business cases and capital requests for improvements.
