Job summary

PPG seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist at the Greensboro Production Facility. You will coordinate CI initiatives, influence engineers and operators, and lead the execution of CI strategy on-site.

The role requires collaboration with Maintenance and CI teams and travel across the region. You will apply Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and DMAIC to improve manufacturing efficiency and end-to-end processes, reporting to the Maintenance and CI Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field; Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years proven experience with LSS/Continuous Improvement in a chemical/food/manufacturing environment.
• Green belt six sigma certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CI development plans and KPI targets aligned with site strategy.
• Identify, scope and implement CI projects with clear scope, milestones and deliverables.
• Coach engineers and operators in CI methodologies and best practices.
