Job summary

Thornton Construction seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead field operations on institutional, commercial and residential projects in Florida. You will oversee scheduling, safety compliance, subcontractor coordination and daily updates to the Project Manager to ensure alignment with contract requirements.

With 8+ years of industry experience, you will drive baseline schedules, monitor progress, manage pre-construction activities and maintain cost-effective field performance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes including scheduling, contract administration, equipment and manpower.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance.
• Schedule and monitor field productivity.
• Understand and apply owner contracts, subcontracts, drawings, specifications and addenda; assist Project Manager in on-site procedures.
• Communicate issues, events, performance and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report problems promptly to enable cost-effective solutions.
• Establish effective working relationships with clients and Thornton team members.
